Rain likely in parts of NWFP

The News - PESHAWAR: Weather will remain partly cloudy today (Wednesday) with chances of rain in different parts of the NWFP including the provincial metropolis. The weather remained cold and partly cloudy in Peshawar on Tuesday with minimum temperature of 6 degrees centigrade. Minimum temperature recorded in other districts was 1 degree centigrade in Chitral and Abbottabad, Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan 6 and in Kohat 7 degree centigrade.The Meteorological Department forecast partly cloudy weather with chances of rain in Peshawar, Mardan, Abbottabad and hilly areas of the province. Kalam remained the coldest place of the province on Tuesday with 8 degree centigrade temperature. Met Office also forecast partly cloudy weather for Kohat, Bannu, DI Khan, etc. However, the Metrological Department graphics showed rainy day in Peshawar, Mardan, Swat, Abbottabad, Kohat and DI Khan. Cold and dry weather persisted for the last two weeks causing increase in dust.
