PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Wednesday finalised arrangements for the Shandur festival to be held from July 7 to 9. It also decided to persuade the Gilgit-Baltistan government to participate in the event to make it more interesting. Chaired by the provincial Minister for Sports and Tourism, Syed Aqil Shah, the meeting was attended by Minister for Population Welfare Saleem Khan, DCO Chitral Rahmatullah Wazir, the commandant of Chitral Scouts and officials of the tourism, information, works and services departments as well as the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
