PESHAWAR: Chief Justice Peshawar High Court (PHC) Justice Dost Muhammad Khan on Monday inaugurated the Circuit Bench of the PHC at Chitral to make justice accessible to the residents of the far-away mountainous district.
Addressing a ceremony, he said establishment of the bench would save the time and money of the litigants. He stressed dispensation of speedy justice and expressed the hope the bench would make the provision of justice easy for the applicants.
He said once the shortage of the judges in the PHC was over, then a permanent judge would be deputed to the Chitral Circuit Court.He directed the relevant quarters to complete work on the Judicial Complex in Chitral forthwith.The chief justice was welcomed by office-bearers of the District Bar Association, including its president Ghulam Hazrat.
