Ballot papers shifted to Chitral in Army helicopter


INP - Ballot paper for general election 2013 were transported from Rawalpindi to Chitral through a military helicopter on Friday. 
Wiqat Ahmad Malik District Election Commissioner Chitral told INP that he along with a Civil Judge Drosh Chitral carried ballot papers in Army helicopter from Rawalpindi/Islamabad to Chitral.

These papers were received by an other Judge of Chitral on behalf of district Returning Officer Syed Zamarud Shah district session Judge Chitral. Ballot papers were carried by district returning officer along with Election commission Chitral under strict security by Chitral police as well as Chitral scouts to the office of district returning officer Chitral.
Another judge had also detailed by district returning officer Chitral who along with district election commissioner carried these ballot paper. He told that we have arranged for distribution of these ballot papers to different polling station of the entire district.
Responding to a question, he said that it will be carried to upper Chitral within strict security by our forces and it will be assured that ballot papers are available at each and every polling station of Chitral.
