The News - PESHAWAR January 10, 2010: Central Secretary General of Pakistan Muslim Leaugue-Nawaz (PML-N), Iqbal Zafar Jaghra Saturday urged the leaders of all political parties, ulema and members of the civil society to shun all differences and get united to face the challenges.
Speaking at a press conference held at the press club here, he said hundreds of people had lost their lives in the string of bomb blasts inPeshawar and its suburbs. He said the nation was confronted with deteriorated law and order situation and soaring prices of daily use commodities. The unemployment, the PML-N leader said, was also adding to the problems of the people.
Condemning the Lakki Marwat attack, he said the security situation had been improving but the gory incident eclipsed it. He also condemned the press club attack. Jaghra urged Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani to review the relief package. On this occasion, district Chitral PPP worker, Sajjad Khan, naib nazim Town II, announced joining PML-N.
