AP - LAHORE, Pakistan — Police say at least 12 people were killed in a suicide bombing in the eastern Pakistani city of Lahore.
Senior police official Umar Virk says some 35 others were wounded. He indicated two explosions might have occurred.
The blast Friday struck the RA Bazaar, which lies in a neighborhood where several security agencies have facilities.
It's the second time this week that Lahore has been hit by a bomb attack. The last one targeted a police interrogation facility, killing 13 people.
The attacks have shattered a period of relative calm in Pakistan, which has been battling al-Qaida and Taliban violence.

LAHORE, Pakistan (AP) — Police say a suicide bomber targeting an army vehicle struck the eastern Pakistani city of Lahore, wounding at least 26 people.
Police official Mohammad Riaz said several soldiers were among the wounded. Gunshots also were heard after the blast in the RA Bazaar, which lies in a neighborhood where several security agencies have facilities.
It's the second time this week that Lahore has been hit by a bomb attack.
The last one targeted a police interrogation facility, killing 13 people.
