PESHAWAR: Population Welfare Minister Salim Khan said on Tuesday that repair work on the main supply power line would be completed within the next 24 hours and electricity would be restored in Chitral.
The ongoing crisis of electricity would be ended after restoration and repair work on the main supply line in Chitral. This was stated by NWFP Minister for Population Welfare Salim Khan after holding detail meeting with Chief Executive PESCO and Chief Engineer WAPDA here at his office. He said electricity problems of chitral would be resolved in the next three months on a permanent basis.
He said the government was giving special focus on provision of power supply to people, and a plan for changing PC-I of the Chitral Hydle Power Station had been prepared and new machinery would be installed by replacing the old one that would increase the power supply upto 5.500 KV.
