Steps being taken to preserve natural resources of Chitral: Saleem.

 Minister for Population Welfare Saleem Khan has said that steps are being taken on modern and scientific lines to preserve and develop the natural resources found in Chitral so that opportunities of self-employment could be created in the area through their proper use. He expressed these views while addressing as chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of a Trout Fish Hatchery

 at Mogh, Chitral on Wednesday. The hatchery will be established at an estimate cost of ten million rupees. The rivers of Chitral abound in the best and superior species of fish, and steps are being taken to ensure its conservation and its promotion on commercial which would help minimize poverty in the area by creating opportunities of self employment; he said. Referring to the uses of the hatchery Saleem khan that it would not only help preserve the rare species of fish but would also serve as a training centre for those who want to keep their own fish farms. He urged the authorities of fishery department to work hard for the preservation of the rare species of fish and locate places in other parts of the district as well for establishing such hatcheries. Concerned authorities of fishery department and C&W were also present on the occasion. On the demand of the local people of Mogh Saleem Khan announced one million rupees for electricity polls, one million rupees for lining of canal and two million rupees for establishing a community centre in the locality
. Later on, Provincial Minister formally inaugurated the construction of Labour Suit at Tehsil Headquarter



 Hospital Garam Chashma to be completed at an estimate cost of Rs.1.20 millions. On this occasion Provincial Minister visited different sections of the hospital and enquired about the treatment facilities being provided to the patients. On the request of the hospital administration, Saleem Khan assured the provision of a separate power transformer and other requirements to the hospital.
