ISLAMABAD (Online): Former DG ISI, General Hamid Gul has said that UN Commission’s report is nothing but wastage of money and time. Talking to a private TV channel here on Friday the former DG ISI said that if former President Pervez Musharraf was culprit then why he was given the protocol while President Asif Ali Zardari has been declared innocent according to the report.
He said that the whole nation wanted to know the name of BB’s killer and in the UN Commission’s report Pervez Musharraf was held responsible for her assassination but he was given the protocol by PPP led government.
He went on to say that that the report was a fraud and it seems that few elements wanted to close this chapter. He said that Pakistani agencies should investigate the whole incident because the world was aware of the efficiencies and capabilities of Pakistan’s agencies.
He said that UN commission did not cover all the aspects of the incident and the report was based on half evidences.
