Commandant Chitral Scouts announced 50000 for FCPS

CHITRAL (GroundReport): Frontier Corps Public School (FCPS) Chitral celebrated annual Parents day at FCPS ground. Commandant Chitral Scouts Col Zaffar Iqbal was chief guest on the occasion while the ceremony was presided over Samad Gul Principal of FCPS Chitral. The ceremony was started with the recitation from the Holy Quran and then a student of class 6th read Naath Sharif. Students also performed with a best way in PT show and passing out parade. They also read national Anthem all of the guests were took stand in honor of national Anthem. Students of different classes performed different tubule, drama, stage show, cultural show and there were so many other colorful programs and events during the parent’s day. There were so many other interesting and colorful programs during the function. Students also performed folk Chitrali dance on the beating of drum to enthrall the guests which were very much appreciated by the participants. Addressing on the occasion Executive District Officer School and Literacy retired Samad Gul said that Chitral is on 4th number in education and literacy ratio. He said that there is a misconception of federal board which is totally wrong that they conduct their examinations in a wrong way. As a results most of the students facing great hardships. He said that so many talent students from this institution success with brilliant marks in annual examinations. He also hailed devoted services of Major Arif Alam for betterment of this school. Chief guest Col Zaffar Iqbal also distributed prizes, awards, flag and shields among the successful students of the school. Addressing on the occasion Col Zaffar stressed upon the parents to must visit the school twice a month to ascertain performance of their children and to track them on right path. He said that we charging nominal fee and transportation charges from students to increase literacy ratio in the district and to impart them quality education. He announced of 50000 rupees for computer lab of the school. A large number of parents, civil and military officers, elites of the area, intellectuals, teachers and people belonging to all walk of life participated in the function who also enthralled by different colorful programs during the function.
