Chitral Students Welfare Organization (CSWO) Rawalpindi/Islamabad held its election


ISLAMABAD (Idrees Hayat ), May 24, 2010: The Chitral Students Welfare Organization (CSWO) Rawalpindi/Islamabad held its first ever election here on Sunday.

It may be pointed out that it was the first election of the five-year-old students body as earlier its cabinet used to be picked up by selection. The lection was held after differnces among the students were resolved.
Two groups of students took part in the election held in Islamabad on Sunday. They were Chitral Parast Group and the Chitral Youth Alliance. Total number of votes cast on the occasion was 248. Out of this, Chitral Parast bagged 137 while 110 votes went to Chitral Youth Alliance.

The office-bearers elected on the platform of Chitral Parast Group are as follow:

Shahzada Idrees Hayat, Chairman; Saiful Islam, President; Syed Muzamil Shah, Vice-Chairman; Waqas Mulik, Vice-Chairman; Asghar Ali, General Secretary; Mr Salim, Senior Vice President; Rehmat Jalil, Vice President, Qazi Saifuddin, Vice President; Jahanzeb, Joint Secretary; Zafar Ali, Finance Secretary, Ejazul Haq, Information Secretary; Syed Ali Raza Shah, Sports Secretary; Shehzad Ali, Culture Secretary; Malik Sardar, President Colleges Rawalpindi; Hassan Ali Saeed, President Colleges Islamabad, Ayaz Zarin Advocate, Legal Adviser; Irshad Rehmani, Students Legal Adviser, and Syed Rahim Aman Shah, Programme Coordinator.

Note:
The oath taking ceremony of the newly elected is scheduled to be held on 12th June at 6 PM in community center Abpara Islamabad, the MNA of Chitral will be the chief guest at the occasion.
