The Nation -ISLAMABAD – Khyber PK Sports Minister Syed Aqil Shah said Monday that Rs.2.2 million would be disbursed among the top performers of the Sandur Polo Festival which would kick off from July 9.
Addressing in a “RISJA Meet The Press” program here at Pakistan Sports Complex, he said that it would be a historical event. “We will encourage the players and heavy prize money will be distributed among the top team for the first time in the history of traditional festival of Sandoor,” he viewed.
Aqil revealed on this occasion that the 31st National Games would be held in Khyber PK from December 25 to 31 this year. “Two disciplines will not be held hosted by KPK as Karachi will host swimming event while Islamabad shooting event,” he viewed.
