CHITRAL: A boy was looted at gun point near Hayatabad police station in the provincial capital where he had gone for his enlistment in Pakistan Army. Narrating his tale of woe to chitraltimes.com here on Monday, one Rashid Ali from Oveer village of upper Chitral said that after reaching Peshawar he was going to Hayatabad to stay with his cousin when two persons stopped him near police station and asked him to hand over whatever he had. With a shower of tears in his eyes to express his grief, he said that they snatched his bags carrying his credentials and cloths and then carried out his body search and took away his six thousand rupees and mobile phone set. "I besought them to return my NIC and certificates but they did not listen and asked me to leave the place", he said. He suspected that the robbers were policemen in plain clothes as they looked by their appearance. He said that he returned to Chitral without appearing in the test as NIC and educational certificates are required in the Army recruitment centre. He feared that his father may not allow him to go back to Peshawar after this bad experience and his incapacity to afford his travel expenses.
