The Interior Ministry of Pakistan warned former president Pervez Musharraf against visiting Pakistan in view of threat to his life from militant outfits like Al Qaeda and Taliban. An official of the ministry, citing intelligence reports said on condition of anonymity that there was a threat to the life of former president who is on the hit list of Al Qaeda, Taliban and Baloch nationalist militants. The official said that Musharraf had been informed about the “danger” during his possible stay in the country. Musharraf has claimed several times that he would return to Pakistan to lead his All Pakistan Muslim League newly launched political party. Gulf News
