ASEAN states envoys visit Chitral آسیان ممالک کے سفیروں کا چترال کا دورہ

CHIRAL (From The News) : The ambassadors from Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) states had an enchanting trip to scenic Chitral valley that left them greatly impressed.

The envoys met the elite and officials of the area during the two days trip and appreciated the tranquillity in the valley.
The members of the delegation included ambassadors of Thailand Marut Jitpatima, Indonesia’s Ishak Latuconsina, Malaysia’s E Dato Ahmad Anwar Adnan, Philiphines’ Jesus Yabes, Brunei’s Abdul Jalil Ahmad and Myanmar San Myrint.

The group visited Old Fort of Chitral, old Shahi Bazaar and Chitral museum before travelling to Birmogh Lasht, the summer palace of the erstwhile rulers.

Muhammad Usman Mardanvi, archaeology expert on the history and heritage of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and cultural coordinator for the Omar Travel who arranged the trip briefed the guests about the Chitral’s history, culture and landscapes. They also witnessed the traditional polo in Chitral.

Member of National Assembly Shehzada Muhiuddin invited the guests on dinner, which was hosted by Masudul Mulk, Chief Executive of the Sarhard Rural Supoort Programme.

The next day the ambassadors visited Bamburet. Usman Mardanvi briefed them about the life, history, religion and customs of Kalash people.

On the way back from the Kalash valley, the delegation visited the residence of Masudul Mulk at Ayun valley that was followed by a dinner. The News
