Report : PESHAWAR The government has started training of women of Hunza Nagar district of Gilgit Baltistan by imparting modern techniques to them in terms of embroidery and cross-stitching to help them to stand on their own feet.Rashid Ali, Spokesman AHAN project of Federal Ministry of Industry and Production said Friday that the training has been started under a welfare project with collaboration of ‘Aik Hunar Aik Nagar (AHAN) KPK, United Nations Development Programme under which more than 300 women of union councils Bargo, Nomal, Chalat, Sikandarabad, Galmat, Faykar, Sheenaki, Aliabad, Khasnagar and Hooper affected by devastated floods and Ataabad lake are being provided training to raise their income level besides enhance their stature.The training is designed in such away to polish their talent and help them in preparation of modern embroidery and cross-stitching. All essential items and products required for the training have been provided to the women.
