Sharjeel Memon calls on President; tenders resignation from Sindh cabinet

ISLAMABAD, Nov 18 (APP): Sharjeel Memon, who had been summoned by the PPP Co-Chairman, called on President Asif Ali Zardari late Friday night at the Presidency. Spokesperson to the President Farhatullah Babar said that Sharjeel Memon regretted embarrassment caused to the party by going to London with Zulfikar Mirza.Sharjeel Memon also tendered resignation from the provincial cabinet, which the President said would be accepted by Sindh Chief Minister. The meeting was continuing till the filing of this story.
