Factory fire kills 80 in Karachi, Pakistan
A fire raced through a garment factory in the Pakistani city of Karachi overnight, killing 80 people on Wednesday while another fire at a shoe factory in Lahore killed 25.

Pakistani rescuers carry the body of garment factory worker in a hospital after a fire erupted in the factory in Karachi on September 11, 2012, killing at least nine workers and injuring 20 others, police said. “Several workers are trapped inside. We have recovered nine dead bodies and 20 injured,” police official Sayed Mohammad Yousuf told AFP.
