Relief items sent from Punjab reach Chitral

CHITRAL: Twenty trucks carrying relief items for the affected people from Punjab reached the districts, a local leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) said on Thursday.

Talking to The News on Thursday, Provincial vice-president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Malik Jehanzaib said that the relief items would be distributed among the flood-affected families.

He said Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif was taking personal interest in the rehabilitation of the flood-affected people of Chitral, adding that 30 more trucks carrying relief assistance would reach the district soon. He said the prime minister would visit the district in near future to announce special package for the affected families. The News
