A car accident occurred at the Aashrit Pass, resulting in casualties and injuries.
According to reports, a vehicle carrying five individuals from Charsadda to Chitral collided near the Chan Kach area of Ashiret. The injured were promptly transferred to Drosh Hospital by Rescue 1122's ambulance, where initial medical treatment was provided.
Sadly, two individuals lost their live
s in the accident, identified as Mushtaq Ahmad, son of Taj Muhammad Khan from Charsadda, and Barkat Ali, son of Najib Zada from Anguram Deir. The injured include Zafar Ahmad, son of Khan Bahadur from Deir, Ijaz-ul-Haq, son of Israr Muhammad from Taro Kaley Charsadda, and Salahuddin, son of Shamsuddin from Charsadda.
The exact cause of the accident remains unknown, though poor road conditions are often a contributing factor in such incidents.
