Karachi: Engro Fertilizers Limited, Pakistan's premier seed-to-harvest solutions provider, has introduced "UgAi", a groundbreaking mobile application that brings advanced agricultural technology to Pakistani farmers.
This first-of-its-kind solution integrates satellite imagery and drone technology, and enables farmers to purchase high-quality fertilizers directly from the Company. By eliminating intermediaries, UgAi will ensure farmers receive the right products at the right price, with complete transparency.
Mr. Muneer Ahmed Jumani, DG Agriculture Extension, graced the launch event of the UgAi app as the guest of honor. The event was also attended by senior members of the farming community and key government officials, including Mr. Sajid Ali Ghafoor Qazi (Director Tech), Mr. Sher Hussain Chandio (Additional Director Agri), Mr. Altaf Ahmad Channar (Director Agri Extension), Mr. Faheem Qureshi (Deputy Director Hyderabad), and Mr. Muneer Ahmed Kaka (Deputy Director Information Hyderabad)
At the inauguration, Mr. Jumani praised Engro Fertilizers Limited for this revolutionary initiative. He highlighted how UgAi addresses major challenges for Pakistan's farming community, particularly with its direct purchasing feature, which ensures timely access to high-quality fertilizers. He added that the Sindh Government lauds this initiative as a transformative step, setting new standards for the country's farming community.
